Missy is a hard-working grandmother who wishes to be fully present for her family. Although she currently lives in a trailer, Missy is hopeful about what her new house will provide. Within the coming months, we will hand over the keys!

After moving from one trailer to the next, Missy is ready for a sturdy home to call her own. She cannot wait to have her grandchildren over, stay connected with the Salvation Army, and plant a garden in a sunny corner of her yard. She is eager to make the jump to homeownership. “I’m ready for the stability of a good home,” Missy says. She is determined that her final move will be into her Habitat house.

Missy’s passion is for her family. Like all grandmothers, she is eager to have her grandchildren over to her new home. Shortly after the house is built, she plans to have the backyard fenced in for her grandchildren to play in. She is especially excited for her youngest grandson, who is a big fan of trains. “My house will be near the train tracks, and I am looking forward to seeing his face light up,” says Missy. With her Habitat house, she can create a safe place for her grandchildren to come visit.
