The Women Build
Strong women build strong communities
Single and working moms make up the majority of Habitat families, and they need your support to complete the program and provide a safe, stable home for their family. Therefore, the Women Build was born! This fundraising event is dedicated solely to women volunteers. It is a great time for women from across the county to come together, raise money and volunteer on site to support the women in Habitat’s homeownership program.
This event is loads of fun and laughter! Don’t just take it from us. Here’s what past Women Build participants have said about their experience on the build site!

Everybody I talked to said they would like to do this again. We’re having a blast. I think somebody already commented that there’s been more laughter than working. That is not true! Equal parts laughter and working.

It’s a really positive environment. I think it’s great. It feels like you get to learn something new and it gets us out of the office. And we got to meet the homeowner, which is also very cool.
Join the
women build
Participating is simple! You and your friends from work, church or club sign up to volunteer on the build site. No tools or experience required. Everyone gets a t-shirt and lunch, and the rest of the money raised goes toward building the homes you’ll be working on!
Registration is also simple! Simply click the button below to review the sponsorship levels, determine how many people your organization wants to send, and then sign up for that level. We’ll contact you shortly to talk through all the details. Filling out this form doesn’t reserve your spot, but it does put you at the top of the list!
Final dates are still being set for the 2024 Women Build, but you can fill out the form below to let us know you’re interested. Don’t wait – spots fill up quickly: we have sold out the last two years!
